The poverty is not the state of one with insufficient money or resources. The real poverty could be illustrated by those officials who refused to let a rescue boat carrying refugees dock.

Besides breaking maritime and common laws, they demonstrate the poverty of their condition and the poverty of their ideas.

Instead of being proud and pleased of their countries to be lands of asylum and refuge, they act dishonorably. We understand why the oversea officials don’t feel ashamed to burn heaven and earth and cause mass exodus in order to maintain their privileges.

However, we mustn’t forget those millions of people in Europe and elsewhere who risk their lives to rescue refugees and don’t spare their little resources to offer them shelter and comfort.
